The Metro is a top supporter of interesting & eclectic live bands in a set-up where you can be right in with the action, or to the side in what's technically a 'beer-garden' with a view, or back in the front bar to refresh your drinks. Every time I've attended, there's been a relaxed & friendly atmosphere, free or reasonable door-charge, hotel (not club) drink charges, easy access to toilets, close to tram & taxi-rank, and the fastest uber response I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Two of us shared a room for the weekend just to visit adelaide. we got to the Hotel which was booked already and met the licencee. he greated us and welcomed us in and got our booking sorted ASAP. it's nice and close to surrounding Adelaide. Best markets right across the road for Coffee, Breaky or early dinner. the food was well priced and very fresh. the rooms were as expected. Warm. TV, Fridge and nice and clean. the staff and manager made us feel welcome. we had a nice weekend and will stay again as well as recommend any friends wanting to stay. Best Part was the Location.

A great pub - particularly if you are going to a show next door at the iconic Her Majesty's Theatre. Book a table for a meal before the show - the kitchen will make sure you get your meal with time to get your seat at the Maj. The food is satisfying - Aussie pub fare as you would expect. We had everything from fish and chips to schnitty and steak and everyone was happy with their meal. After the show head back to the Metro for a drink and some live music.

Great location near her majesty's theatre. Great spot for a pre show dinner. Service was great, food was delicious, very accommodating. Good wine list and atmosphere. Highly recommend

Manager James; absolute legend! We were a large group of serving members and the service and vibes from the team (and James) on Saturday 14/2/26 was great! Clean, happy venue with a nice cheeky little gaming room.

Only here for one night due to flight next day, staff very helpful ,Thank you matt. Lovely cofffee in morning. Ordered me a taxi , slept well..nice and clean. Older style place ,hopefully stays that way as not many old buildings left. Shared bathroom but wasnt a promblem. Nice hot showers good preesure! I will be back!

Great location, friendly staff, toilet and shower very good found previous occupant's toenail clippings on the floor of my room but otherwise the room was clean and tidy. Quieter than I expected. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely atmosphere, bar staff were great. The meals were really good and great value. We had the Caesar salad : fish and chips and Steak Sandwich, all were really good

I have never before experienced such kindness and warmth than at the hotel Metropolitan. I talked to the warmest staff members james and frank and they made my experience so incredibly beast. The most delicious of brews served scrumptiously with wet and cold pints... two words.... yum! Thankyou the hotel Metropolitan
